Dear Mr G After having worked with you for over a year and trying our best to support your wife I feel that it is unfair for you to write such a review. I understand the situation that you are in is not easy but we have done our best to support you. Social worker has come and done a review and you have mentioned you want to stick with us. Our carers are by law to follow the support plan we get from social workers and the moving and handling risk assessment we get from the council. Carers are not allowed to use your personal moving and handling methods as these can be risky to your wife. We follow the professional advice from community occupational therapist and social workers. The management wont be able to convince staff to do what you want as this is against the law.  We dont keep amending what the carers can do but we keep following what the occupational therapist tells us to do. It would really help  if you get in touch with your social worker and occupational therapist.
