We also appreciate your feedback regarding the communication between different professionals involved in your mum's care. The processes that come with working as part of a wider multidisciplinary team can sometimes take longer, as each professional has their own safety checks and authorisations to complete. While this can unfortunately lead to delays, the intention is always to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the service user, even if it requires several steps before equipment such as hoists can be fully approved for use. We understand how frustrating this can be for families, and we will continue to do our best to work closely with other professionals to reduce delays wherever possible.
