Due to data protection we are limited as a care provider to disclose information however in our defense what I would say is that we tried our hardest to provide the required level of care as the service user had advanced dementia and that the incident in question the care worker tried to ensure that the client was appropriately clothed but was non compliant, we cannot force people and family were informed. Also, this service user was not suited to remaining alone and we have worked with social services closely and rehoused the client in a residential home as she was not safe at home alone, where she will now receive 24 hours care. Social services were kept informed at all times also. Just to add that the particular client has also been through several care companies and she stayed with Nationwide Care Services the longest and she was getting regular carers as we strongly believe the continuity and consistency. In the end, I would also add that her health conditions changed rapidly due to which the family was under a lot of stress therefore alongside with social services, Nationwide Care Services identified the right course of action for her future care.
