In this case, it is reasonable to say that we as a service were forthcoming in stating that we believed the service your family member received was not suited to their needs, and we were not the most appropriate service. We encouraged you to seek alternative service provisions that specialised in supporting young adults with a learning disability. Your family member received a domiciliary home care service, which right now is under immense pressures due to the on-going pandemic and from the outset we kept communication between yourself and social services that the service needed a review.
