We always encourage a true reflection of our service. Points to clarify:
Time falling short - Trust clients are measured for care by the trust as per tasks required. Your mother did not require the allocated time for tasks, Caremark followed trust contractual procedures which is to report this to the CM to review client needs and reduce times. A letter expressing the pressures on the care industry in the home file detailed that call lengths would vary due to the pandemic.
Medication - CSW who attended asked your mother if she had taken her meds, her response was yes, and as the CSW expressed, she was very convincing, this resulted in a medication incident. Caremark identify medication errors and act accordingly by updating the trust and staff would attend retraining.
Our recent RQIA inspection including discussion of this complaint resulting in a clear inspection with no recommendations or requirements.
Value for money - care was completely funded by the trust not privately.
