On only two occasions we arrived later than the appointment window and we called each time. Most understand that things happen beyond our control. When clients have emergencies staff are trained to remain with them until medical support arrives. This caused us to be late to assist with lunch. Care can be physically and emotionally challenging. It is a noble path that is incredibly rewarding. We treat our amazing team with the dignity and respect they deserve. Unfortunately, staff turnover is high in this field. I am proud that we are considerably lower than average as our staff enjoy being part of an outstanding team. Your father has been cared for by a core dedicated team of 6 carers and he knows them well. The ‘Value for Money’ rating is odd as the NHS funds his care costing your family nothing.
