Unfortunately this person was unwilling to have any time apart from 11.30am on the dot. When we told the local authority we could take this person we informed them we could do the call at 10.30am.
The carers arrived and the person would send them away, then telephone the office to complain they were too early. We tried to say on numerous occasions that we could not do 11.30am and the time was agreed with the Council. This person stated that if we could not come at 11.30am not to bother coming at all.
We informed the Local Council and informed them that this person would not accept any other time. We gave back to the Local Authority to try and meet his needs with another company.
Even after this, this person kept ringing asking where his care was, we had explained to him what we had done but he was not happy with this solution either.
All carers wear masks and aprons on all calls and are spot checked for compliance.
