Dear Claire,
I am deeply saddened that you feel this way even after I have had a meeting with your mum, apologised to your mum and nan and also to you over the phone. I have thoroughly investigated the matter and contrary to your belief, your nan was never left unattended. Here at GCL, we are bound by our ethos and guided by our Christian belief to care for our service-users to the best of our ability and by respecting their choices and preferences, most especially if they have capacity to make choices or we do in their best interest if they do not.
I will again reinforce to you that this is not what we stand for and cannot apologise enough.
I am wishing you and your family a very lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year.
