The time we took over his care he was mainly chair and bed bound. He needed the assistance of two carers, two to three times a day, every day. He required assistance with personal care, toilet, meals, and moving and handling.<br>Today he is Independent and able to remember two years back how he used to be compared with how he is today.  He now engages with daily exercise and has been empowered to learn how to prepare his own meals and washing himself. Over the past two years, his confidence has increased significantly. We put plans in place to increase his daily exercise and his cooking, cleaning, and washing himself. We promoted his independence by allowing him to excel in his daily exercise with direct supervision over the course of two years. Now he is fully independent and able to do everything by himself as you have mentioned in your review.
