We know you like to have your main carer and out of the last 90 visits from 1st March to 31st May she has supported you for 45 of these visits. She only works 5 days a week so is unavailable 2 days a week and this combined with annual leave means she was not available for another 30 days over this period. So out of the 90 visits, there were 15 visits that she may have been able to support you but did not. Given you need support 7 days a week this means we have to use alternative staff other than your main carer.

We try our hardest to match up our Care Professionals with clients and provide as much continuity of staff as possible but sometimes don't always manage it and in the case of seven days a week care then it's impossible to have the same member of staff in all the time.
We will try our hardest to get the balance right going forward and have discussed with your family who want to keep you safe.
