Senior Healthcare Assistant

Job summary

Are you a compassionate and experienced carer ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team and lead by example in delivering high-quality, person-centered care.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide support with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship.

• Lead and supervise care staff on shift, ensuring care plans are followed and updated.

• Administer medication and assist with health monitoring in line with care plans.

• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.

• Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a care setting (minimum 2 year, senior or team leader experience preferred).

• NVQ Level  3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

• NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social care (will be an added advantage)

• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

• Empathy, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping others.
