Job Summary
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with their daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their overall well-being. You will work closely with service users, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver tailored support that meets individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while respecting dignity and privacy.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding where required.
  • Support individuals with mobility and the use of mobility aids.
  • Administer medication following care plans and company guidelines.
  • Encourage and support participation in social and recreational activities.
  • Accompany service users to appointments, community outings, and social engagements.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure a high standard of care.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all service users.


Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid UK Driving licence
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Right to work in the UK.
