Local Homecare -

Local Homecare delivers consistent high quality care and support services to the public and private healthcare sectors, local councils and also to private clients, predominantly in their own home.

Responsibilities of the Homecare Assistant-

You will provide care and support for people in their own homes in the Leeds/Bradford area. We are looking for people who are passionate about helping people and making a difference to people’s lives. Assisting with personal care, meal provisions, medication, shopping, domestic duties, companionship, and taking people out to their local communities. Experience is not necessary as training and induction will be given. This includes moving and handling people, first aid, basic life support, medication management, delivering personal care, care certificate and ongoing training which could include NVQ 2. Due to working in the community going from house to house own car and transport is essential.

Qualifications/Requirements of the Support Worker / Home Care Assistant -

The right to work in the UK

Own vehicle and a full UK Driving Licence
