Job summary
To provide care and support to Lewisham based residents under the guidance and supervision of senior staff. To ensure the house and home is clean, tidy and welcoming at all times.
Monday to Sunday on a rota. Flexible rota includes some weekend working.

· To assist Clients with all aspects of personal care. Including, washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals
· To enable Clients to participate in daily activities of their choice such as; day trips, recreational/ leisure activities, crafts, reading, writing.
· To be empathic to the needs of Clients and develop warm and trusting relationship with residents to encourage them to express their needs, views and concerns.
· To be able to clearly explain the remit of the service to a range of clients and other professionals.
· To carry out needs and risk assessments, complete support plans, provide support, and carry out reviews, in accordance with policies and procedures and the requirements of stakeholders and commissioners.
· To maintain good links with local statutory and voluntary agencies to enable clients to access appropriate services and support.
· To accurately input all client data onto our electronic monitoring system and ensure records are maintained to evidence key performance targets, and comply with commissioner requirements.
· To support Clients to make informed choices about decisions that affect them and their family, and to take control of their support.
Skills / Qualifications:
