Job summary

Are you a compassionate, dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in people's lives? We’re currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team, delivering high-quality care to our service users in a home care setting. Unfortunately, we do not offer any switch or sponsorship. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with daily personal care such as bathing, dressing, and toileting

  • Supporting service users with mobility, meals, and hydration

  • Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting changes

  • Providing emotional support and companionship

  • Promoting dignity, independence, and choice at all times

  • Working closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential – full training provided

  • A genuine passion for helping others

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • A team player with a kind, patient nature

  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Caring and compassionate nature – a genuine desire to help and support others
  • ood communication skills – both written and verbal
  • to interact with patients and staff Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Basic literacy and numeracy – often evidenced by GCSEs or equivalent Attention to detail – for recording observations and following care plans Willingness to learn and follow instructions Respect for confidentiality and understanding of safeguarding

  • Previous experience in a care setting (hospital

  • or domiciliary) Care Certificate (or willingness to complete it after starting)
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it) Basic first aid training Knowledge of infection control
