What is the Role of a Care Professional?
Becoming a care assistant involves supporting the most vulnerable in your community which involve a mixture of tasks.
- Do you have a passion for supporting others in a caring compassionate way?
- You don't have to be a gourmet chef but you must be able to help provide nutritious meals and drinks during the day.
- You don't have to be a qualified nurse but you must be able to assist with medication reminders , this can be an important part of your role.
- We don't need you to be a personal stylist but you will assist your client to select their clothes for the day after you have helped them with personal care.
- Can you chat and communicate with a variety of people? You will build caring meaningful relationships with clients, their families and healthcare professionals.
- Our care assistants are always reliable, trustworthy and are excellent timekeepers, it's important to be at your clients house on time as they look forward to seeing your smiling face.
- Are you able to support people in remote locations at the time they need support, are you willing to go the extra mile?
- This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
- Must have flexibility to support clients early mornings, evenings and at least alternate weekends as required.
