Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Assist with medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules

- Support individuals with mobility needs and assist with transfers

- Help with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary requirements are met

- Engage in meaningful conversations and provide companionship to combat loneliness

- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces and doing laundry

- Accompany individuals to appointments or social outings as needed

- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behavior

Requirements:

- Previous experience in home care, childcare, senior care, nursing homes, or assisted living is preferred

- Knowledge of medication administration and experience working with patients requiring specialised care (e.g., dementia care)

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between client locations

- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centred care

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals of diverse backgrounds

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or client needs
