Key Responsibilities

  • Clearly communicate and liaise with the office staff regarding attendance, travelling, and responsibilities

  • Provide emotional and social support

  • Carefully read care plans

  • Write honest, correct, and accurate reports

  • Assist and administer medication, including monitoring diabetes and blood pressure

  • Assist with hygiene: showering, washing, bathing, dressing, undressing

  • Assist with the mobility of a client, including the use of equipment such as hoists and standing aids, moving about their home, and getting out and about

  • Continence support

  • Hair and nail care

  • Assist with nutrition/ hydration needs, such as preparing meals and drinks; assisting those unable to feed themselves; ensuring each client receives quality meals/ diets they have requested/ food suitable for their needs

Training

  • You don’t need to have previous experience in care work, but if you do, we offer fast-track induction training for those who qualify. T’s and C’s apply.

  • Training will be given to anyone new to the industry. Once you have completed your training, you will shadow one of our experienced care?heroes?until you feel comfortable on your own

  • Full training is given to gain a care certificate
