Job summary
In this role, you will provide essential personal care, ensure hygiene and comfort while offer physical and emotional support to service users. You will maintain open communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing vital updates on their condition and any changes in care requirements. By monitoring and documenting health conditions, implementing safe working practices, and upholding high hygiene and safety standards, you will always ensure top-quality care. As a valued team member, you will embrace the principles of Olive Healthcare Services, maintain accurate patient records, and report concerns to management. Throughout your role, you will adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, and a valid UK driver’s license is required for travel between client locations. A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives is essential for this role. Previous experience in a care at home, supported living, or home care setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and healthcare professionals. A caring and compassionate attitude, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, is crucial. The ability to work independently and as part of a team when required is expected. Candidates should also demonstrate flexibility, including availability for various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
