Domiciliary Care Assistant – Community Care

Danygraig Domiciliary Care | Bridgend & Porthcawl

Pay: £12.70 per hour
Travel Time: Paid at £12.21 per hour
Mileage: 35p per mile

Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time Positions Available
Shifts: 07:00–15:00 and/or 15:00–22:30
Rota: Includes weekends
Driving: Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential

We are recruiting Domiciliary Care Assistants to support people in their own homes across Bridgend and Porthcawl. This is a rewarding community role where every visit helps someone live safely, comfortably, and independently in their own home.

Areas Covered

Cornelly • Pyle • Kenfig Hill • Cefn Cribwr • Laleston • Porthcawl • Ton Kenfig • Bridgend Town • Brackla

Your Role

You will provide high-quality, person-centred care, including:

• Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
• Supporting with meals, drinks, and hydration
• Assisting with mobility and medication prompts
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Completing clear and accurate care records
• Working independently with full support from our office team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous care experience preferred (training provided)
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle – essential
• Willingness to work alternate weekends
• Caring, reliable, and well-organised approach
