Stowmarket Meet and Mingle take a day trip to Felixstowe beach

Our colleagues at Stowmarket had raised a fantastic £179.99 earlier this year so that they could take to take the Meet & mingle group and some of their Service Users to Felixstowe beach

Yvonne Cattermole arranged the transport and venue for the whole group, which included lunch at the local fish & chips shop.

Yvonne was supported on the day by Branch Manager Shelly Burridge, and colleagues Maria Best, Sue Stobbs & Donna Sandlan.

It was fantastic day, and the team even managed to get people in for a paddle! Miriam and Heather who attend the Monthly Mears Meet and Mingle said:

"This has been amazing, I haven't had a paddle for years! Thank you so much for arranging this."

Shelly said: "I know Yvonne had many sleepless nights worrying about the day but she did a fantastic job arranging the whole day. "I am so proud of Yvonne, Sue and Maria for arranging such a great day and proud of the Stowmarket Team for all the effort and hard work they put into this group."
