Care providers are being encouraged to make the most of tailored communication and energy tariffs so they can save money and boost productivity, leading to better care for people who are older and vulnerable.
CAN Solutions is offering discounts to any care company registered with the care regulator in England, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and can offer special benefits for care workers.
Tom Finch, director of CAN Solutions Ltd said: “Can Solutions has been working with many care businesses in recent years to provide better value mobile contracts with unique benefits for care workers. Many care companies just go straight to the networks for a standard tariff or just pay their employees’ personal mobile bill on expenses without realising the inefficiencies that this can cause from a cost and operational perspective.
“We have access to special discounts that any care company registered with The Care Quality Commission (CQC) can benefit from. Some of the benefits enjoyed by our care customers include shared data bundles, dedicated support from a named account manager to process any account updates such as SIM swaps, call barring, number porting and handset replacements.”
City Care Partnership, which provides specialist services for people with learning disabilities and autism, has been a CAN Solutions mobile customer since 2016. A spokesperson for City Care said: “We’ve renewed our contract again because CAN Solutions are easy to work with and continually keep costs down for us in an ever-competitive market.
“The flexible hardware fund means we can draw down funds to pay for new devices as and when we need them, not just when the contract renews. Managing SIM swaps is straight forward.”
Evolving Care, which offers home care and live in care, has care staff who rely heavily on their mobile phones to keep in touch with clients as well as manage their busy schedules.
A spokesperson for Evolving Care said: “We are so pleased to have been able to exit our old contract early, and all the costs have been covered by CAN Solutions as part of our new deal. Now when we want something changed on the account we can call our account manager on their direct line or email rather than get stuck in long phone queues to a big call centre. This is a breath of fresh air! The team has also switched our utilities contracts to a better deal so we now have our suppliers consolidated.”
Mr Finch added: “As a multi-product provider, we can also offer landline and energy services to care homes with additional discounts. I am committed to working with care providers to make sure that these vitally important businesses get access to the most suitable solutions.”
