This CSW did not come from a care background and has adapted and proved to be one of the best carers in the company. Having dealt with traumatic situations with maturity they always ensure the office is up to date with any challenges they come across. She has a fantastic relationship with all her clients, and they think the world of her. She will assist in picking up extra if she can and will often be seen leaving her natural habitat of Tewkesbury to support new CSW’s with shadow shifts in Cheltenham.

This person never stops smiling and is a pleasure to work with, continually demonstrating a positive and robust attitude no matter what the day throws at her.

One of many examples. This CSW attended a call, announced herself and started her normal routine of clearing up and putting the kettle on. It became apparent after a short while the client was not responding. Unfortunately, this CSW found the client was not breathing, no pulse and cold to touch. Training kicked in and 999 was called. Despite the operator making the situation more traumatic than it needed to be, strength of character upheld. Despite finding this a difficult situation both physically and mentally to deal with this proved in the end to be all in a day’s work for this CSW.
