Skills for Care Accolades 2014 Best Employer of under 250 staff South East Regions Winners -

The Skills for Care set up the Accolades in order to celebrate and share the very best of good practice from across the country. Cherish Care won Best Employer of under 250 staff in the South East. We were then invited up to Birmingham for the National finals.

The judges said...Cherish Care understands how quality staff are critical to deliver the overall business objectives to deliver specialised home care in the locality.From who and where they recruit, to developing initial skills and then onto continuing professional development everyone is clear how this will support delivering the highest quality care.

Although learning is delivered to ensure overall business objectives each member of staff is encouraged to own their own learning, exploring areas of interest and developing their careers. This has translated into a level of service that is greatly appreciated both by those who use the service and their family carers.
