Overall Experience5.0 out of 5
The carers were all extremely friendly, helpful, cheerful and kind. I fell in January and broke my ankle in 4 places and my right elbow. I was discharged from hospital on February 2nd and have had Waveney Home First carers from then until today. I had non-weight-bearing plasters on both my right leg
and my right arm. I had 2 carers 4 times a day at first and they used a hoist to lift me in and out of bed and administered my medications. They gave me a bed bath every morning and put my body creams on my arms and legs. Over the last 6 weeks, their visits were reduced to 2 carers twice a day morning and evening and then, when I was no longer needing to be hoisted into and out of bed, to just one carer morning and evening. I am now without plaster casts and am able to walk with the help of a zimmer frame. Today has been the carers final visit. I thank them all and think they are an excellent team.
