Job Title: Registered Manager

I have been the Registered Manager for the Children and Young People's Division, Care in the Home, since 2024. I joined the company in 2023 as a Clinical Care Manager.

I'm passionate about leading the CYP team as we've got a fantastic and highly qualified group of Care, Clinical, and Coordinator staff, who collectively have many years of experience. We’re growing our team and recruiting more clinical and non-clinical roles, which is exciting.

I’ve been working in health and social care for my whole career to date, starting out as a carer, and then going on to qualify as a nurse back in 2010.

I love getting to know our clients and support workers, and I’m always on hand to offer support or advice. I also enjoy going out to do assessments and clinical competency sign-offs, which ensures that my skills and knowledge remains up to date.

Job Title: Clinical Manager

I have worked for Active Care Group for 23 years, which reflects the love I have for my role as a Clinical Manager. Over the years, there have been many changes to my job description, keeping me motivated and providing me with a great deal of job satisfaction, including a diverse range of tasks, including safeguarding concerns, dealing with HR processes, or updating care plans, to name but a few.

No two days are the same on a day-to-day basis, and I never know what the next call will bring, which means that I am constantly adapting to new situations with my team, clients, and across the wider business. My ability to adapt to change has made me the nurse I am today.

The people I work for are equally varied, as our clients range from babies to teenagers, and all ages in between. Every client and their parents have different care and support needs, all met with a bespoke person-centred approach.
