Of carers who are the most caring and thoughtful people I have ever met . I feel relaxed with my carer I receive they are all amazing and look forward them coming. The on call and office team as always helpful and to there best to accommodate all my needs.
When I found I was to be part of Silverstars Care I need that many clients found they made friends with their regular carers. After a few weeks I found exactly that - carers became friends. My family is also pleased with the way the care is carried out and kept in touch with any problems. However having said this I found one carer fell short of the standard required. I am now paying for 45 mins in the morning and 15 mins in the evening. I receive 20 mins in the morning & 5 mins, with no interaction or friendships. I complained to the office this carer did a few tasks that were missed previously but her attitude has not changed.
We contacted them to support us on a day trip for our brother, who has late-stage MND.
The lady was always quick, clear and empathetic to our particular circumstances and needs and helped us get organised for the day.
Our carer was diligent, thorough, kind and clearly experienced in this specialist type of care. He looked after our brother with dignity and great care, and he was lovely company to have with us on the trip too. We had peace of mind that we had excellent support with us.
Can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you for making our special day trip operate smoothly.
As per my memory, I have been getting service from Silver Stars for the last 3 years. I am very happy with the management and the service that I am getting from them. The carers who are attending for me are brilliant. They do their best for me always. I highly recommend Silverstars to anyone who is seeking care support.
My father receives excellent care from this team of carers. They arrive when they say they will and help him get up, washed/showered and dressed. He thinks very highly of them all. The Rota is sent out every evening so I can tell him in advance what time they are arriving the following morning. Very reassuring for the family too. No complaints.
If changes to arrangements are in the pipeline I can usually contact a member of staff during the late afternoon. While ready to react to events carers can point to a very acceptable record for punctuality and they have a sense of humour
demands.
Very predictable and reliable. They have gone out of their way to increase calling frequency from 2x to 3x a day.
A good history and record of each visit is made and on the infrequent times I have called I have always had the feeling that they were fully on top of events on the day with my mother.
Also, I must say that not only are the staff friendly and cheerful, but they have shown great professionalism and have given me good advice about the care needs of a person with Alzheimer's.
All staff arrive on time, as per the comprehensive rota that the office sends out to me - which again is a real help for me to know when staff are arriving.
Overall, I am so pleased to have Silverstars helping my wife and I through this journey - I would highly recommend them.
Every carer has been excellent, on time, very cheerful attitude and treats my partner with compassion and care and is always polite. I personally wouldn't know how I would cope without them, as before getting my partner showered and dressed was so hard and made my back ache etc. So thank you very much for your help.

There have been a couple of times that I have been fortunate to be there, things would be a bit different.
Very friendly, and you can tell the people that care.
Some spend the time chatting with mum, 1 or 2 do what they have to and go.

Carers excellent and one visit a day at 9.00 is very acceptable. Hopefully this will continue as it has for the last year. My wife has a wash every morning which is essential as she is bed-bound and her skin needs to be checked regularly, which is important and is being done regularly.

Having had a holiday during May, we were pleased with the extra care we had asked to be done. Everyone was great, the care and times were spot on. My Mum-in-law had no problems while we were away and so we were able to enjoy our holiday.

My priority is delivering exceptional care to our members while ensuring all staff members feel valued. Outside of work, I cherish time with my family and indulge in well-deserved holidays. I'm also a passionate animal lover, with four dogs and four cats.
I'm Vicky, the Finance Manager at Silverstars Care. Beyond managing finances, I assist with administrative tasks and enjoy engaging with office staff, carers, and clients, providing a listening ear.
