Very efficient welcome with paperwork done very soon after arrive including DNR and Power of Attorney. Carers well trained and interested the job. They respond quickly to calls for help. First Aid knowledge good. The staff are well motivated and confident in the management.
I have been very impressed with the whole care set up here. From the initial discussion about my situation regarding health and welfare to the care service I am currently receiving. I spent 40 years in local government care services and know what constitutes a quality provision. I have been offered a person centred service that is consistent, compassionate and comprehensive. Specifically at the moment around measuring my blood pressure, as I have a dread of doing this procedure myself. A plan was produced and I received all the help and support I needed with the minimum of fuss and complete understanding. Thank you!
My one complaint is the carers having to spend so much of my paid time writing notes on their phones. A simple tick list could be created with space for anything out of the ordinary?
I am extremely happy with the care that my mother has received, so far, at Mayfield Retirement Village. Her carers treat her with dignity ], they are all kind, friendly, respectful and very efficient. It gives me peace of mind knowing that she receives help and support from such caring staff. Thank you.
I cannot speak highly enough of the whole team, they have really put our family's minds at rest knowing they are around. My parents moved into their flat a few months ago and the relationship between the carers and my parents has gone from strength to strength.
