For more than three and a half decades, Chelsea has devoted herself to the Health & Social Care field. Her journey began at the age of 13 as a volunteer tea girl, evolving over the years into roles focused on recruitment and training, which she has pursued for the past 16 years. Working as the Care Ambassador project lead in Devon, Chelsea started her path to igniting the passion in individuals to join the care sector, always driven by her unwavering commitment to nurturing talent within the industry.
She derives immense joy from identifying and fostering the potential within others. Chelsea is also a qualified Health & Social Care trainer, finding fulfilment in the "lightbulb moments" that mark the transformative learning process for her students. Her passion is to enable her learners to be the best equipped in their roles, whether they are new or veterans to the care sector.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys a variety of hobbies, including fixing things—often her 1970 VW Beetle—watching films at the cinema, collecting comic books, and delving into the study of true crimes, leveraging her qualifications in Criminology to deepen her knowledge in this area.
Elsa has spent over 20 years working in care, supporting people across residential homes, supported living services and community projects. Her experience spans learning disabilities, autism, dementia, mental health challenges, complex physical health needs and working with older adults, and she’s always brought the same energy to every role: genuine curiosity, kindness, and a determination to help people live well on their own terms.
As she moved into management, she discovered how much she enjoyed supporting teams to grow and thrive. She’s known for her positive, practical approach, her ability to turn complicated policies into something clear and useful, and her knack for bringing people together — families, professionals and staff— to create support that truly works.
She leads with honesty, humour and a down-to-earth style that makes people feel at ease. Whether she’s helping untangle a challenge, championing a team member’s strengths, or shaping a service so it feels more personal and human, she brings enthusiasm and heart to everything she does.

With nearly 40+ years of experience, with a focus on emergency care work and an ambulance-based background, Simon started volunteering for St John's Ambulance at just eight years old. Simon completed 40 years of service at St John's Ambulance, with twenty of those years based on the frontline in the Ambulance crew and holding various managerial roles within his 40-year career.
In Simon's other past employment, his managerial positions were often contracted to undertake the PTS (patient transport service) on behalf of the NHS in Somerset.
"What attracted me to Beehive Care is wanting to still have a public-facing role and continue to provide a valuable service, which Beehive Care gives to its customers.
I wanted a change, and the company has been so welcoming from day one, which is brilliant, which is why this is the company I want to work for.
My interests include rugby (I used to cover the Exeter Chiefs' home games with St John Ambulance).
Carnivals, (I am part of a carnival club which enters carnivals from East Devon up into Somerset and a little further), also Chutney & Jam making."
One of the Operational Administrators here at Beehive Care & Training. Sian's journey in Health & Social Care began at 18 as a community care worker—a role proudly held for nearly a decade while raising her young family. Sian later became a Mental Health Intervention Worker, supporting individuals as they transitioned from institutional care into independent living. It was a demanding role, but it gave Sian invaluable insight into the operational side of care and the importance of tailored support.
More recently, Sian worked in employability services, helping vulnerable adults re-enter the workforce after long periods of unemployment. These experiences have shaped her approach and equipped her with the skills to support individuals through their recruitment and training journey. Sian especially loves working alongside Chelsea to help carers grow and thrive in such a vital sector. Seeing people flourish in their roles is what motivates her every single day.
Outside of work, Sian is a busy mum of four and a proud rugby WAG on the weekends.
"My favourite way to unwind is with a good book, a cup of tea, and my comfiest pyjamas—you'll find me doing this whenever I get a moment!" ~ Sian
