Hello, My Name is Samantha.

I am the Registered Care Manager here at Falcon-Care Preston.

Falcon-Care have recently expanded its services to the Preston and South Ribble areas, allowing me the exciting opportunity to develop and grow our new Preston Branch.

I have worked in the Health and Social Care sector for 19 years.  My experience covers a variety of settings that include Domiciliary Care, Complex Care, Residential and Nursing Care.

I initially became interested in Health and Social Care when a friend of the family worked at a senior level in a Nursing home in my village. I have always had a keen interest in helping others, and I wanted to explore this further. I was offered a position as a care assistant working on an Elderly Mentally Infirm (EMI) Unit, working alongside qualified mental health nurses supporting individuals with advanced dementia. Working on the EMI unit was very challenging and distressing at times; however, I found an intense sense of job satisfaction.

It has been uphill from there. I started to explore other avenues in health and social care, which allowed me to develop my skills and knowledge, along with completing the required qualifications.

Over the course of my career in health and social care, I have developed the required knowledge and skills to excel in all aspects of my role. Allowing me to explore my passion for quality and compliance, which has been evidently demonstrated throughout my career. Multi-site management has been key to my professional development, allowing me to develop the business and adapt agreed ways of working to encourage cultural change, promoting continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Exploring different sectors in health and social care has allowed me to keep my continuous professional development current by completing my QCF level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services qualification. My goal is to gain my Level 7 qualification and progress at Falcon-Care.

My passion is to ensure that individuals receive high-quality care that is focused on meeting their individual needs through a holistic approach. I am a big believer that effective communication, empowerment, and supporting a team are key to success.

When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my partner and my children. I enjoy going on country walks, family activities, reading and socialising with friends/family.

I am looking forward to my future with Falcon-Care, growing and developing a fantastic team, and providing high-quality care.

Hi! My name is Rachel, and I am the care coordinator for Falcon Care Preston.

I have worked in the Health and Social Care Sector for almost 17 years. I have studied both Level 2 and Level 3 in college, which led me to progress into university to study my BA (Hons) Degree in Community Social Care. I originally started as a carer and over time have progressed into different roles. In the future, I am hoping to complete my Level 5 in leadership and management to become a Registered Manager for my own branch.

I am looking forward to working with the new Preston branch team at Falcon Care to grow and develop the expansion of the organisation.

Hello, I’m Sophie, and I am based at our Preston branch. I am one of the Care Supervisors, and I am excited for this new opportunity at Falcon-care.

I have worked in various roles in Health and Social care, including a care assistant and mentor in the community, which has helped me gain a lot of knowledge and skills that I have brought to my supervisor role at Falcon-Care. I have recently completed my NVQ L2 in Health and Social Care, and I am looking forward to my new challenge and opportunity to progress.

I have 4 children, all girls, and they keep me on my toes. Most of my spare time is spent with my family, supporting and encouraging their hobbies and interests. One of my eldest daughters enjoys horse riding each week. When I get the chance, I enjoy going to the cinema as I am a big movie fan.

My next goal is to complete my NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care and continue to grow with Falcon-Care.

Hello, I’m Victoria, and I am one of the care supervisors here at Falcon Care Preston.

I have worked in health care for the last 10 years, working a number of roles from Healthcare Assistant, Admin, Co-ordinating and now as a Care Supervisor. Working through these roles has allowed me to gain knowledge and the skills that help me support carers, clients and their families effectively.

I have my level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care and am working towards my level 3. I am looking forward to progressing and growing with Falcon Care.

Outside of work, my partner and I have a son who is our whole world. We spend our weekends going on days out, going for walks and going swimming.

Hi, my name is Robert, and I am the office administrator here at Falcon-Care Preston.

I have over 3 years of experience in the care industry and have had experience of running my own business, whilst doing this, the individual was always at the forefront of my mind and helping people to live their best lives is what drives me.

Outside of work, I like to keep myself fit and healthy by going to the gym 6 days a week and running on weekends.

I am looking forward to being part of a community that is all about helping those in need.

I am a dedicated and compassionate carer with 7 years of experience supporting individuals with a wide range of physical, emotional, and cognitive needs. I take great pride in delivering high-quality, person-centred care that upholds dignity, promotes independence, and enhances overall well-being.

My experience spans both nursing home and domiciliary care settings, allowing me to adapt to diverse environments and tailor support to meet individual requirements. For the past year, I have been working with Falcon Care, where I have seen a significant improvement in my skills and confidence. This progress has been greatly supported by my manager and supervisor, whose guidance has been invaluable.

I am currently completing my Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, which I expect to achieve next month. This qualification has deepened my understanding of best practices in care and strengthened my commitment to continuous professional development. In my spare time, I enjoy glass painting and gardening, which provide a creative and relaxing outlet.
