CAREGivers are encouraged to be empowered, be involved, be inspirational, be compassionate, be yourself and be thoughtful. The care delivered is only as strong as the connections CAREGivers build with their clients and each other.
Working with Home Instead Senior Care Dudley & Sandwell South means CAREGivers receive in depth, comprehensive training prior to working with clients. The pre employment training is delivered in a comfortable environment in small groups. CareGivers who successfully complete this training, along with suitable references and an enhanced DBS are then matched and introduced to clients. The CAREGivers continue their development with full support and guidance from a member of the office team. They are on hand 24 hrs a day to help and offer advice as required.
CAREGivers are paid per hour, they are also paid for travel time and waiting time as well as receiving a competitive rate for mileage. CAREGivers also accrue holiday entitlement with is also paid at their hourly rate.
Home Instead offer all employees access to the free and confidential Employee Assistance Programme, this helps with all aspects of life whether that be work or personal issues.
CAREGivers have the opportunity to expand their knowledge by completing City & Guilds Accredited Dementia Training & End of life Training. Both of these training programmes have been awarded the Princess Royal Training Award. They will also have access to a bespoke on-line training suite to accompany any other training offered.
