We are currently
recruiting for full- or part-time Community Care workers to join our
existing teams throughout Berkely and the surrounding areas
About the role:
As a community support worker, you’ll deliver excellent care,
celebrate achievements, encourage fun and creativity, and engage
directly with our wider community. You will make a positive impact in
the lives of those you support. The role will leave you with a feeling
of satisfaction, knowing that you have made their day just a little better.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting Individuals in their own homes to keep their Independence following a hospital stay or a change in needs
- This will include personal care, including assisting clients with washing and dressing
- Medication support
- Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
- Occasional Shopping
- Light Housekeeping
- Meal Preparation
What we need from you:
- full driving licence and access to own vehicle are required for this position.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
- Genuine passion for helping others and wanting to make a positive difference.
- Respect people’s right to privacy
- Have zero tolerance of all forms of abuse
- flexible approach to your working hours as Saturday and Sunday work is required
