Domiciliary / Complex Care Team Leader Position at Henley Care Ltd
Location: Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire
Responsible to: Agency Manager
Purpose of Position:
As a Complex Team Leader, you will oversee the delivery of
domiciliary and complex care packages in a designated area, ensuring
high standards of care while developing and supervising the care team.
This role requires flexibility and working at weekends and
evenings, on-call support, and regular service user visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of care workers, ensuring compliance with care policies and regulations.
- Monitor quality of care through regular check-ins, spot checks, and reviews.
- Plan emergency cover for service delivery and assist with staff training and development.
- Maintain effective communication with team members, service users, and management.
Essential Criteria:
- Must have experience in a supervisory role within the care sector and relevant training in complex care management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate and sensitive to the needs of individuals, particularly those requiring complex care.
Main Functions of the Job:
- Provide ongoing leadership and supervision to domiciliary home care workers, ensuring that service users’ complex needs are met while adhering to Henley Care procedures.
- Facilitate training and development opportunities for the care team to enhance their skills in delivering safe and effective care.
- Participate in on-call duties one week per month, with an emphasis on addressing urgent care needs.
- Conduct routine visits to service users, particularly addressing staffing shortages and ensuring continuity of care.
- Plan and coordinate emergency cover arrangements to ensure that care services are maintained without disruption.

- Must have previous experience in a supervisory role within the care sector and relevant training in complex care management.
