Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented health and social care auditor to join our family run health and social care dynamic team. It is essential the ideal candidate possess a good knowledge in health and social care and of the care quality commissions standards and regulations. Idealy you will have a keen ability to analyse social care data and conduct internal audits and action where needed. Although this is not essential as training will be provided. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing the efficiency of health and social care systems and operations.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough internal audits to assess the accuracy of our records, documents and compliance through our established policies.
  • Analyse written statements and reports to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement and action these where required.
  • Utilise our digital software and care planning system to maintain accurate records and streamline auditing processes.
  • Collaborate with the registered manager, care manager and directors to ensure adherence to compliance and regulations and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports summarising findings, recommendations, and action plans for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of audit strategies that enhance operational efficiency.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • - Drivers licence
  • To have excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data effectively
  • - Experience of working with electronic call monitoring systems and in digital care planning systems
  • Strong knowledge of health and social care medication management report writing and the principles of good working practices
  • - A good knowledge of audit findings and analysing data and action any findings that have been identified and to report back to the registered manager
  • - Level 3 in health and social care or working towards
