Do you like supporting people? Are you a people-person who likes to have fun? We have a few job openings for Home Care Workers and Support Assistants to join our team. The job includes support with all aspects of their day to day living, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life in their own homes. Providing care and support is both a challenging and rewarding experience. You will require flexibility, reliability, and great communication too. You will also be keen to learn new skills and have a valid driving license. You will mostly work alone with the customer in their home and with a double colleague when prescribed. Compassion, good rapport building skills and a calm and caring manner are essential for this important role within our team.

Responsibilities:

• All of the following topics are required for this position.
• Be able to communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to understand and use technology (e.g., Apps) for recording and reporting.
• Ability to read and write legibly well in English.
• Motivate and encourage service users towards proper nutrition and hydration targets.
• Support service users with all aspects of personal care.
• Handle medication tasks and complete MARs and eMARs.
• Observe and report incidents with reasonable clarity.
• Use equipment and tools provided appropriately to support service users.
• Carry out household tasks i.e., (Cleaning, tidying, laundry, cooking, etc)

Please note that there will be a shortlisting phase and interviews will follow thereafter. For all successfull candidates, there will be full training provided  after your comprehensive orientation and iright through your induction process.

If you are new to Home Care, we will set you in gently. All starters will have a buddy and will be rigorously mentored into our way of working . You will have extra support from day one and with the right ingredients, your supervior and line managers will ensure your progress is steadily guaranteed
