We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Domiciliary Care Manager to support the delivery and growth of our high-quality domiciliary care services in Newport, South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and committed team, with a focus on maintaining regulatory standards, enhancing care delivery, and leading staff development.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Registered Manager and play a key role in ensuring compliance with CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) regulations. You will oversee day-to-day operations, contribute to audits and quality assurance processes, and provide leadership and support to care staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Registered Manager in ensuring compliance with CIW regulations

Build and maintain strong relationships with care staff and clients

Liaise with social workers and community teams to support business continuity and growth

Oversee quality assurance systems, audits, and spot checks
-
Complete care plans, risk assessments, staff competencies, and supervisions

Assist in covering management duties during absences or leave

Cover care calls when necessary to ensure service continuity

Appropriately manage and respond to complaints, incidents, and concerns
Essential Requirements:
-
Registered with Social Care Wales (SCW) as a manager

Hold a Level 5 Health and Social Care Management Qualification, or a Level 4 with a willingness to work towards Level 5

A minimum of 1 year of management experience in domiciliary care

Strong knowledge of care regulations and quality standards

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internal care systems

Ability to work independently and proactively

Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
