Complex Care Worker

Lakeland Care is a trusted, employee-owned care provider with a strong reputation for delivering compassionate, person-centred homecare across South Cumbria since 2008. We’re currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Complex Care Worker to support a lady living with advanced Multiple Sclerosis

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1-to-1 care for a client with advanced MS, supporting all daily needs including personal care, mobility, nutrition, and communication
• Work 9am–6pm on a shift pattern, including alternate weekends
• Deliver high-quality, respectful care that upholds dignity and promotes independence
• Liaise with family, clinical professionals, and the wider Lakeland Care team to ensure consistent, responsive care
• Receive additional training to fully support the complexity of the role

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in complex care, domiciliary care, or health & social care
• Confidence supporting clients with limited mobility and high personal care needs
• A calm, reliable, and compassionate approach
• Commitment to delivering consistent, person-centred care
• Willingness to engage in further training

What We Offer:

• Salary circa £26,400 per year
• Employee Ownership bonus scheme (up to £1,000/year tax-free after 12 months)
