Mum is extremely happy with the care provided. She has two particular carers on a regular, weekly, basis who she thinks are excellent. Also, having the same carers each week builds up a rapport and they get to know what mum would like doing and how she likes it doing. Keep up the great work.

We first met the carer 5 years ago, this was following my mum's stroke.
She worked for a different care company back then, and I have to say it wasn't a perfect fit as my dad did not really get on with her very well.
Skip 5 years and both mum, dad and myself think she is great, there is nothing that is to much trouble and she makes mum feel comfortable and safe.
She has made a massive difference in my mum's life following the stroke, she does sometimes get a little upset when the carer is on her rota but then unfortunately it is changed.
To me this just proves the care and support she gives my mum, when she misses her that much.

I believe she will continue to support our family and those of all her other clients to the highest standard.

My mam has been cared for by a specific member of staff, from Lakeland Care for over 2 years.
Being a past care home manager myself and now carer for my elderly parents, I expect very high standards of care and understanding of my mams needs when I'm not there. The carer mirrors my own values of helping and caring for others.
Her compassion and dedication have made a significant difference to my mam and dads daily lives, making it easier for them both to accept help from others whilst still retaining as much independence and dignity as possible.
She is always reliable, professional and goes above and beyond to ensure mam's comfort and well-being. Always willing to listen, discuss and investigate any problems or concerns my mam has with her care. If she says she will sort it out she will, and communicates well with both my parents and myself.

She is highly organised and detail-oriented ensuring that all aspect of mams care is managed efficiently. She easily manages daily routines, medication

The world of 'adult care' was brand new to me. I suddenly needed to find care for my Mother due to her fragility & restriction in doing certain tasks safely. I met & talked with Lakeland Care Team. Within a couple of days a full care plan was in place helping my Mother. Amazing work.
The Team of Carers are that and more. I have been at my Mothers home & witnessed the care, pride, patience, hard work & pro active approach the whole team makes. The engaging personal manner, real respect shown & dignified approach the Carers demonstrate is first class.

The Carers also think on their feet, employ common practical sense and actually smile. Proper lovely folk. Thank You.

We have been using Lakeland Care and Support Services Ltd to assist our elderly mum who has Alzheimer's. Lakeland come in each evening to put her to bed. At first I was reluctant to use a care company as was worried that different carers would be coming in to see mum and she might become agitated and confused. I needn't have worried, it's the same pool of carers coming in on a regular basis and know her routine. All the carers are lovely and treat mum with respect and dignity. The managers and admin team have also been very supportive and have ensured care has been available for mum when requested at short notice, which again has been greatly appreciated.

It took a long time to take the plunge and ask for help with looking after Mum, Lakeland Care and Support Services Ltd leadership have been so supportive, listened to me and allowed me to share the care load without any judgement. The carers who see Mum are all amazing, they have spent time getting to know her little ways and have built up great rapport with her.
The standard of care Mum gets is wonderful and I feel I can rest assured that at all times she is spit spot, squirted with her favourite perfume and hair just so.

Lakeland Carers have been helping me and Mum since May 2024, thank you all so much.

The carers who support Mum, are kind and empathetic. They have developed a positive relationship with her understanding her needs and interests. They enable her independence and she feels respected and valued. There is lots of laughter and their support is integral to Mum's wellbeing.

My mum has been with Lakeland Care for nearly three years, over this time I have been very happy with the service they give. I am very happy with the support she receives without this she wouldn't manage in her own home, it is also peace of mind for me that there is someone going in to visit her on the days I'm unable to go.

Overall I am very happy with the care and support my son receives from Lakeland Care.
There are just a couple of issues that cause frustration at times and I apologise if they may seem insignificant.
1. My son's morning support calls on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, my son attends Day Services near the local town centre. This starts at 9.30 am, I have informed the office that he has to be there at 9.30 am, his morning calls on these days can be erratic e.g. next week, for example, his calls are 8:45 - 9:45 am on Wednesday and Thursday, Friday he has been put down for 9 am - 10 am, I have asked for these days to be time essential 8.30 am - 9.30 am but it has not been actioned.
2. My son has several sets of matching bed linen but I do find frequently that no care or attention is given to making sure the matching bed linen is put on his bed.

3. I am not convinced that his support always properly checks, if he has had a shower or bath, e.g. I have been and noticed the bath/shower is dry.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the amazing team of carers, who looked after Mum in her final years. The care she received was exceptional, with many carers going above and beyond when required. They brought brightness and comfort to Mum when she needed it most. She spoke very fondly of the carers. Whilst Mum was a bit of a "stickler", the carers always provided excellent care. In addition to the amazing carers, I also found the office support very helpful. If ever there was a problem, it was very quickly and professionally dealt with. Without hesitation, I would recommend Lakeland Care

Lakeland Care provide care for my 87-year-old mother. We as a family, can't praise them enough. The care they provide for our mother is excellent. Mam's care plan is followed by all of the carers on each visit. All the carers and their managers are friendly, approachable, supportive and very helpful. They all treat Mam with respect and dignity, nothing is too much trouble. We are all very grateful for the care that Mam receives, each day. Mam is reviewed regularly and her care plan is kept updated and all Mam's care needs are reached.

Lakeland Care have provided an incredible service for my grandma recently. The first point of contact with management in the office was a breeze, the communication and explanation of the service from them was brilliant. The care package was tailored to meet my grandma's needs and this was then put into place promptly, allowing my grandma to remain as independent as possible, and in her own home. The carers were professional, empathetic, caring, patient and showed so much compassion with the care they provided. Nothing ever seemed too much, any concerns with regards to grandma's health or needs were communicated with myself or my family. All staff members treated Grandma's home with dignity and respect and were so polite, on occasions when I was present there was humour and laughing making Grandma's days a lot brighter! All staff members built up an outstanding rapport with my grandma and her relatives and showed a high level of training and knowledge. I 100% recommend Lakeland Care.

Lakeland Care looked after my mother for an extensive period when she was really ill.

The carers became her friends as well as the people who looked after her personal needs. My mother really looked forward to the girls coming as she could have a good old chat with them. They certainly went above and beyond to make her feel safe and well cared for. The company is run very efficiently, the paperwork was kept up to date on a daily basis and I would recommend Lakeland Care to anyone who needs help from a professional company.

We've got to know Lakeland Care staff very well over the past 3 years, and we're very greatful for their support. We hear them laughing and joking with my father in law and although he is housebound they bring quality to his life. They always treat him, and our home and family with dignity, respect and politeness. They've been here in all weathers (except when we wouldn't let them down the drive when it's was treacherous ice!! We value them far too much :) ). Thankyou for all that you do, your hard work and dedication.

An incredible service when my grandmother came to visit and was taken ill. A care package was put in place very quickly with minimal fuss. This allowed my grandmother to stay with us longer while she recuperated, long enough to be able to look after herself once she returned home. Excellent staff that were genuinely caring and seemed to love their jobs.
