Senior Domiciliary Carer (Driver Required)

Mercury Care Services LTD, based in Redbridge, is seeking a Senior Domiciliary Carer to support our team and clients across the community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients in their own homes
  • Support and mentor new and existing care staff, including shadowing and on-the-job training
  • Carry out spot checks and report on care standards
  • Liaise with clients, families, and the care coordination team to ensure care plans are followed effectively
  • Address and escalate any concerns or complaints promptly
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and report supply levels
  • Assist with rotas and communicate any staffing or scheduling issues
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to management

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in domiciliary care
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle (essential)
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practices
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
  • A calm, supportive, and proactive approach to care
