Summary: As a Healthcare Assistant at Nesscare, you will play a vital

needs, activities, personal care, medication management, and overall

care.
Your primary responsibility is to deliver compassionate
care, ensure comfort, and assist healthcare professionals in providing
the best possible outcomes.
We are seeking a compassionate and
dedicated Health Care Assistants to provide high-quality care to
adults, including the elderly or those with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care Assistance:
Assist
with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene routines.
Help
with toileting and incontinence care.
Provide mobility
assistance, including transferring patients from bed to wheelchair and
vice versa.
Meal Preparation and Feeding:
Prepare
nutritious meals based on dietary needs.
Assist with feeding if
necessary.
Provide emotional support and companionship to
residents.
Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare
professionals.
Comply with health and safety guidelines and
infection control protocols.
Medication Management:
Remind
clients to take their prescribed medications.
Ensure medications
are taken according to the prescribed schedule.
Document
medication intake as required.
Companionship:
Engage in
social activities to reduce feelings of isolation, including
conversation, playing games, or
participating in hobbies.
Provide emotional support to clients.
Household Support:
Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and
organization to maintain a
comfortable living environment.
Assist with shopping and running errands as needed.
Health
Monitoring:
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood
pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
Observe and report any
changes in the client’s health or behaviour to the healthcare
team.
Communication:
Maintain regular communication with
family members, healthcare providers, and supervisors.
Document
care activities and report any issues or concerns promptly.
