Field Care Supervisor

Salary: £13.50 an hour

Location: Bridport (in-person)

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Role Purpose: 

We are seeking a talented, dedicated and driven Field Care Supervisor to join our dynamic, expanding team based in Bridport & covering all surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation & delivery of care services to our clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of care. This role includes supporting a small team of care workers/clients, rostering carer/clients' visits, on-call duties shared between other FCS, completing assessments, reviews, spot checks, and writing care plans using PASS & Care Planner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular field visits to clients’ homes to monitor the quality of care provided.
  • Supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of clients.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform risk assessments and reviews of care packages.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Handle any complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a care coordinator or supervisor.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care is preferable.
  • Good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience with electronic care planning systems is an advantage.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Experience:

  • Supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
  • Providing care: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving License (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
