We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare
Assistants to join our team. The successful candidate will play a
vital role in providing high-quality care to clients at the comfort of
their home. This position requires excellent communication skills, the
ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the
well-being of our clients. The Healthcare Assistant will work closely
with staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all
clients receive the support they need.
Responsibilities
- Assist service clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each Service Client's needs.
- Communicate effectively with service clients, their families, and team members to provide updates on care and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in service clients' conditions to nursing staff.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all service clients.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
- Drive residents to appointments or activities as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English are necessary for effective interaction with residents and colleagues.
- Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and reporting is advantageous.
- A caring attitude towards elderly individuals and those requiring assistance is essential.
- A valid driving licence.
