Mahipal has been working in the care industry since 2011. Prior to this, he gained valuable experience as a Social Worker, working across several boroughs. Through this role, he developed a deep understanding of clients’ diverse needs and the importance of providing compassionate, person-centred care. He is highly skilled in developing tailored support plans that place the client at the centre of decision-making, ensuring their preferences, goals, and well-being are fully respected.

In his current role as the CQC Registered Manager at Sure Care (Reading & East Berkshire), Mahipal is responsible for the careful selection and recruitment of care workers, ensuring each carer is appropriately matched to clients based on their skills, experience, and shared interests. He provides ongoing support and supervision to both care staff and office colleagues, fostering a positive, professional, and collaborative working environment. Mahipal also works in close partnership with health and social care professionals to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to client care.

A key aspect of Mahipal’s role is ensuring full compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards, promoting safe, effective, and high-quality care at all times. Beyond regulatory compliance, he is deeply committed to improving the quality of life of every client. Mahipal takes great pride in knowing that the care delivered under his leadership supports individuals to live with dignity, independence, and a sense of purpose.

Kim Takhar is the heartbeat of our operations, who has been with us since 2017. With nearly a decade of dedication, Kim has become an irreplaceable pillar of our team, known for her exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence.

From managing compliance and recruitment to training staff, handling HR matters to avoid courts, and keeping our rotas running like clockwork, Kim does it all with professionalism, precision, and a human touch. Her ability to balance high standards with a genuinely warm and approachable style has helped create the friendly, supportive team culture we’re proud of today.

Whether she’s mentoring new staff, solving complex challenges, or bringing calm to a chaotic day, Kim’s presence is always felt. Her passion for people, eye for detail, and dedication to doing things right make her a truly inspirational leader and someone we’re incredibly lucky to have.

Lisa is the heart of our care coordination at SureCare, ensuring that every service runs smoothly and with compassion. She plays a vital role in organising our care staff, liaising with healthcare professionals—including district nurses and college teams—and making sure our clients receive consistent, timely support.

From managing the daily rota and handling incoming calls to responding swiftly to changes and overseeing the flow of care delivery, Lisa brings structure, warmth, and dedication to everything she does.

Ravi has been our dedicated Team Lead at SureCare (Reading & East Berkshire) since 2024. He plays an integral role within the organisation, supporting with care plan assessments, handling on-call duties, and stepping in wherever needed; whether as a receptionist, coordinator, or assisting with management tasks, Ravi truly does it all.
