Key Responsibilities

Assisting service users with personal care, including washing, dressing, and continence needs.

Supporting with safe mobility, transfers, and use of equipment (e.g., hoists, wheelchairs).

Providing companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction.

Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration monitoring.

Administering or prompting medication in line with care plans.

Supporting service users in daily living activities, such as light housework, shopping, or attending appointments.

Observing, recording, and reporting any changes in service users’ health or wellbeing to the care manager.

Skills / Qualifications:

- Previous experience in care (residential

- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential for all roles).
