Registered Manager (12 Month Contract)

Caretree is an independtly Oxfordshire based, Domiciliary Care Agency renowned for its standards of care and customer support.
We are looking for a Registered Manager to take overall responsibility for day to day running of the business.
The ideal candidate will have a background in health and social care management and/or nursing would be great - as well as being a good communicator - an early retired person from the NHS with nursing or administration background would be ideal.
You will work closely with the General Manager and Directors and be responsible for the efficient running of this successful home care business, including managing the care co-ordinators, care workers, dealing with customers and weekly scheduling.
Main Responsibilities:
- The legal and ethical running of the
day-to-day business.
- Ultimate responsibility for all staff
recruitment, induction training and identifying training needs and to
ensure we have sufficient levels of staff in place to meet customer
demands.
- Overseeing the preparation of Care Packages/plans for
new and existing clients.
- Conducting risk assessments on both
staff and customers.
- Development and maintenance of the
quality control system to ensure its successful operation.

Implementation of the complaints procedure.
- Achievement of
agreed sales targets.
- Participate in on call rota to ensure
adequate cover.
- Have a strong knowledge of Care Standard
legislations and regulations including understanding their
implementation within the business, promoting the strong customer
service values to all the organisations employees.
- Responsible
for the safe and legal delivery of our services
Skills and Experience:
- Management experience of service provision in the care
profession.
- Should have the Registered Manager's Award or
equivalent in order to satisfy regulatory requirements.

Experience of Business Management would be advantageous as the role
will require the ability to allocate, maintain and control financial
resources and the creation of administrative systems.
- Some
experience of involvement in the business development and marketing of
a care business would be advantageous.
- The Registered Manager
will need a full driving licence and access to their own transport.
