Senior Care Assistant

Job summary

Bee's Care are recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant. We require our candidates to have:

- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in care

- A driving licence and access to a vehicle

- Ability to work 40 hours per week including every other weekend and lead a team of carers.

Summary

As a Senior Care Assistant at Bee's Care Limited, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and companionship to our clients. This position is essential in helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Build trusting relationships with clients to enhance their confidence and comfort.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients by monitoring their health and reporting any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment for clients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not required.
• Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of memory care practices is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and families.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
