Job summary

Home Instead Reigate and Tandridge, is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Care Professionals. As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing companionship, home help, and assisting with washing and dressing, to older people within their homes.

We support clients in the following areas: Reigate, Redhill, Merstham, Bletchingley, Tandridge, Godstone, Oxted, Westerham, Biggin Hill, Caterham, Purley, Coulsdon and the surrounding areas.

We were established in 2010, and have an Outstanding CQC rating.

Part-time and full-time hours are available: am, lunchtime, teatime, evening.

Care Assistant responsibilities: Being a companion is a highly rewarding career, where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

Companionship - Ensuring your clients enjoy regular and and meaningful social interaction. This is an extremely important part of your visit.

Home help: Supporting with everyday tasks such as light housework and meal preparation.

Accompanying clients to appointment or taking them shopping.

Personal care - Supporting clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.

Support prompting or administering medication.

Pay: £13.15 - £14.25 per hour for a two-hour visit, £15.00 - £16.10 for a one-hour visit. (Our visits are mostly 2 hours long) Plus travel supplements.

Required:

Availability from 16 hours per week - Every other weekend availability.

Access to a suitable form of transport.
