Care Assistant- Part Time Weekend

Job summary

CARE4U2DAY is a family-owned independent Home Care Agency, where we have a different approach to others by offering care for young adults and the elderly living in Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas.

We believe in hands-on person-centered care, focusing on promoting independence and dignity for each individual we care for.

We are looking for both experienced carers and those that are new to care, who will genuinely care for our clients and want to make a difference to their lives.

You’ll become part of our extended family and join our friendly team , bringing kindness, exceptional care and dignity to our clients.

Main Responsibilities will be:

• Supporting service users within their own homes
• To assist service users when required with; personal care, continence requirements,medication assistance, preparation with meals, household duties.
• Understand each service user care hours within their home, and ensure you are supporting clients to reflect their care and support needs accordingly whilst promoting independence and maintaining their dignity.
• Complete mandatory staff training
• To ensure confidentiality is always maintained, in keeping with the Data Protection Act (DPA) 1998 – ensuring that clients personal details are not disclosed to any unauthorised person and all records are maintained within the DPA 1998 requirements

Fixed Part- Time shifts available of 6 hours for the following days & hours:

• Every Saturday & Sunday 7am-1pm
• Every Sunday 3-9pm
• Alternate Saturdays 3-9pm

A full driving licence and use of your own car is required for this role.
