Job summary
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Care
Worker to support a young female client based in Kingston
who requires daily assistance and companionship. This is a full-time
position with long day shifts, offering consistency and the
opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the client’s quality of life.
Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and support in line with the client’s care plan.

Safely perform manual handling and use hoisting equipment as required.

Support with catheter care and maintain appropriate hygiene standards.

Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging in conversations and light activities.
-
Communicate effectively with the client, family, and care coordinators.

Assist with daily living tasks, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
Requirements:
-
Previous experience in manual handling, hoisting, and catheter care is essential.

Strong spoken and written English skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Compassionate, patient, and reliable.

Able to work long day shifts, 7 days a week (rota-based scheduling may apply).

A friendly and engaging personality — the client is a young individual seeking a carer who can also provide good companionship.
Preferred:

Experience supporting young adults or clients with similar needs.

The client has expressed a preference for a younger carer (approximately 22–35 years old) for compatibility and companionship reasons.
