Become a Heartfelt Companion: Join Our Care Team in Northumberland
This isn't just a job; it's a calling. As a Care Assistant, you are often the only person a client will see all day, making you a lifeline, a friend, and an essential part of their world. If you are a naturally caring, empathetic person with a passion for helping vulnerable people live the life they choose in the comfort of their own homes, we want to hear from you.
We are looking for compassionate people to become the foundation of our friendly team, where going above and beyond is the everyday standard.
Why You Should Join Our Adventure:
We know our staff is our greatest asset. That's why we don't just offer benefits—we offer support, development, and respect for the incredible work you do.
We Take Care of Our Team:
-
Premium Pay & Hours: Competitive rates, with flexible Part-time and Full-time hours, plus options for paid overtime.
-
Driving Support: Mileage reimbursement for your travel.
-
Real Career Progression: Excellent training opportunities, including fully-funded NVQ 2 & 3 completion to develop your skills and knowledge, plus clear pathways for career advancement.

-
Start with Confidence: Free uniform and training, including a full shadowing period and personal introductions to all new clients with an experienced Care Assistant.
Your Essential Role & Responsibilities:
You will enable our clients to maintain their independence as a genuine alternative to residential care, often working in remote areas. This is a role of profound trust and variety.
Your Day Might Include:
-
Providing personal care and moving & handling support.
-
Offering vital companionship and emotional support.
-
Supporting with medication administration.

Assisting with shopping, domestic tasks, and general welfare checks.

Due to the remote locations of our clients across Hexham and the surrounding areas, a valid driver’s licence and access to your own reliable vehicle are essential for this role.
Our Commitment to You
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. We encourage applicants from all community sections as we strive to reflect the diverse neighbourhoods in which we work.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Valid Driving License
